其实很简单的,主要是看非谓语动词与逻辑主语的关系,是被动还是主动；其次是看时态,是过去现在还是将来.
1、涉及到的词组是play a role in,因为全句的谓语动词是say,所以play就要变成非谓语.排除D,因为D是谓语动词形式.接下来就考虑play的非谓语形式是哪种了.因为play和其逻辑主语role是被动关系（role自己不能play,只能被play),再加上句子的时间状语now,答案就定在A了,表示正在、被动.B表示将来的,还没有发生.C表完成,已经发生.BC都和now不符,所以不入选.
