The Olympic Road of ZhangYining
My favorite athlete is ZhangYining.She is a table tennis player.She was born in Beijing on 5th ,1982.When she was only 5 years old ,she began to play table tennis .Although she was a little girl at that time ,she told her coach,“I want to be the king of the ping pong ball .”She liked playing table tennis very much .She had a big heart to success early in her childhood .By the age of 14,she entered the National Team of table tennis .She met two important people in her life ,Wang Nan and Li Sun .Both of them played an important part in her road to success.Wang Nan was her roommate from 1996 to 2000.She had won so many prizes in the world .Little by little ,she gave ZhangYining so much influence .Li Sun was the coach of ZhangYining from 1996 to now .He gave her the great number of help when she was in trouble .Li Sun said ,“The only thing that can make her happy is to win the gold medal in the Olympic Games .”How ambitious she is !It made her dream come true more quickly.
I will introduce you her Olympic Road in the following paragraphs.
In 2000,she had already been the main player of the team .But unfortunately she lost a competition to promotion the Olympic Game.It was almost impossible.All of her fans,media and also herself couldn’t bear it.At that time,she was too sad to train as usual .Everybody knew,at that time ,she had been the No.1of the world .When her roommate Wang Nan won the gold medal she could only be the watcher of the Olympic Game in front of TV.She was very sad for a long time.Her coach helped her .In 2001,she came out of the dark and won two gold medals in a competition.
Three years later,it was 2004 .In Athens Olympic Games she won both the single and the double .She won two gold medals .It not only made her dream came tune,but also won a continue of glory of Chinese table tennis .When she won the woman single table tennis .She was smiling,it was very sweet and sincere After that,she really took the place of Wang Nan and became the super woman of table tennis.
This year in Beijing,her hometown,she won two gold medals again.As the same as four years ago ,she smiled again .She kissed all the people all over the world who likes her very much .I really think it was a reward of all the fans of her .I was very happy too.Aug 22nd was a fine day,it made her dream came true again.And there was a smile named ZhangYining.
I like ZhangYining best not only for she is the winner of the competitions,but also for her personality.She has a real heart.She has a dream and in order to makes it come true .She never gives up.Although she has met so many difficulties over the 8 years,she was always strong minded and faced them actively.Playing table tennis takes her a plenty of time to practice .It almost the whole of her life in past 15 years.Now four gold medals of the Olympic Games return to her .These are her harvest.
I am her supporter forever .When I am very tired of studying,once I think about her I will be full of energy immediately.
I hope she will take part in the 2012 London Olympic Games.Best wishes to her!
