It’s the New Year's Day today.I got up very early!I heard the bird singing in the trees.After
breakfast,my mum,my father and I went to the local park.Everything was beautiful there,
We saw many boats in the lake.Later on,we went to my grandfather’s home.There are many trees and some flowers.
At seven o’clock,we went home.It’s a happy day today.
My New Year's Day will be spent with my family.We believe that this is the time for family members to gather around and catch up on our lives.It is difficult to meet with everyone in the family sometimes as we are all busy working or studying.So New Year's Day is a good chance for everyone to stop working or studying and sit together to tell each other on how their lives have been for the past year.Also this is a time to wise up and mature.With each passing year,we should aim to be better and more responsible.This is the time to set down targets for the year and make sure that we try our best to reach these targets.On New Year's Day,we will visit relatives and chat with them.We will also enjoy the food and snacks that are prepared.Usually this will include the dumplings and sweets.We will also crowd around the television to watch celebration programmes and stay up late into the night.When the clock strikes,we will also light up firecrackers to welcome the new year.This is an auspicious time for us and a good time to enjoy ourselves.

I am a student ,I love May Day a lot,because we can have a good rest and do something I enjoy .How did spend the seven-day holiday I didn't trave or visit relatives,instead ,I found a job in a restaurant .
That was the first time I had been a waitress.It was harder than I had thought.At first ,I was very clumsy .Once I nearly spilt the soup on a lady's dress.Some customers were very fastidious ,they often like finding my fault .I was so discouraged and tired that I was ready to give up the first afternoon.
