不明白为什么是would,而且那个If是怎么回事.

我当时想到我将会是一个非常糟糕的记者……这是过去某个时间想的,所以用过去将来
if本来是该引导条件状语从句的对吧,但是这里只用了分词结构,因为if本身已经在从句中了,再套条件从句结构会很冗长.
