On Nov.15,2013,the government announced several changes to the public,which attract a lot of attention.Different people have different opinions about them.Especially one of them is about the college examination system.Our country needs to train all-round students.So,one of the plans is to stop dividing senior high school students into arts and science classes.
"Our country needs all-round people.The changes basically meet the needs of both students and the development of China's higher education."said Xiong Bingqi,head of the 21st Century Education Research Institute.
Does that mean students will face more tests before entering college?Perhaps not.There will be fewer examination subjects.Also,the examination system will be reformed.Students will be tested by both their final exam grades and their school performances.
So far,the changes are only plans.It's unknown when they will come true.
