这个题B为什么不对,不可以理解成fewer than 后面省略了people E中ones有指代不明的现象啊?为什么这个就是对的?

这个题我觉得E的翻译比A更合理?该怎么翻译啊?

A、less不对,应该用fewer,可以秒杀.
B、比较的对象要对等,前面是人,fewer than后面也应该是人,没有道理省略people.一般来讲,遇到这种选项,我会看看有没有更合适的,实在不行再回来看看这个,但在这道题中,E选项明显没有任何问题,结构和用词都很完美,因此B并不是最优的选项.
C、which指代不对,可以秒杀.
D、a number做movies的同位语,可以秒杀.
E、ones指代people很清楚,你的意思是ones可以指代movies吗?应该没有这方面的歧义吧,movies只是同位语中的一个成份.而且,我做gmat语法的时候,除非有非常明显的指代问题,比如单复数不对等问题,一般我都把指代问题放到最后考虑,如果GMAC想在指代上考你,会把考点给的比较明显的.E答案明显在结构上要优于B.
2、我觉得是E,答案是A吗?
前面是一个同位语,后面句子的主语要和figure是同类事物.figure有“人物”的含义,因此后面句子的主语应该是Adam Smith,即必须是一个人,不能是一本书,排除ABC.
D、similar to后面应该加一个词,不能加句子.
E这个选项我没看懂,但是用排除法似乎也只能这么选了.
