The English movie I like best
My favorite English movie is "The brave heart", a historical epic about legendary Scottish independence fighter William Wallace. Starring Hollywood superstar Mel Gibson, this movie vividly depicts Wallace as a great patriot who loves Scotland and its people deeply, a great warrior who can defeat the powerful army of the king of England, and a passionate leader who inspires his countrymen in the endless pursuit of ultimate freedom. The most touching moment in the movie was when Wallace was about to be beheaded in London on charges of high treason, he shouted in his maximum voice the word "Freedom!" I think it echoes in the heart of everyone who loves freedom and would seek or defend it at any cost.
Five tips of how to spread AIDS information on campus
AIDS, an epidemic that has taken the lives of tens of thousands of people since its origin, is rapidly spreading across the world, and China is no exception. Nowadays the menace of AIDS is felt even on university and college campus in our country. It is imperative to spread AIDS knowledge on campus and help fellow students understand the danger of this deadly disease.
Here are the five tips I want to suggest on how to spread AIDS information on campus:
1. Publicity campaign to spread the knowledge about AIDS and HIV infections thorugh campus radio or publications
2. Distribution of free condoms and setup of automatic condom-selling machines on campus;
3. Invite experts to come to campus and give lectures and speeches about safe sex between lovers;
4. Invite AIDS patients, better those students who got infected on campus, to share knowledge and experience about AIDS and HIV;
5. Mark the World AIDS Day on December 1 by activities such as running, blood donation and AIDS-related knowledge quiz.
