[Abstract] Economic cycle refers to economic growth fluctuations in a relatively steady period in the process of economic development. Generally, it can be divided into four stages, namely, prosperity, contraction, recession and expansion. Economic cycle is a common phenomenon despite of the social system. There is economic cycle in a capitalism sociaty as well as in a communism society. China's economic cycles is distinctly different from that of the West. This paper begins with a introduction of the founding of the economic growth rate and its volatility to proceed, then analyzes the characteristics of China's economic fluctuations and causes of economic fluctuations and predicts the trend of economic flucutations.

[Abstract] Economic cycle refers to the process of economic development by the length of time appear similar economic growth speed fluctuation, can be divided into four stages, namely, prosperity, contraction, depression, expansion. It is not a social system for transfer of capitalist economic cycle, there also exist, socialist economic cycle. China's economic cycle is relative to the west is quite different. From its founding of economic growth, and fluctuations in China's economic fluctuation characteristics and reasons of economic fluctuation, and the trend is forecasted.
