A Happy Day
My parents and I always stay at home these days,but yesterday we went to my grandparents’home.
We got to the house at 10 a.m.I saw lots of wonderful things there.
There is fresh air and less pollution than Haimen there.My grandfather grows lots of trees,flowers and vegetables.He also feeds many animals,such as ducks,chicken,dogs.Oh,a really interesting garden!A wonderful and interesting zoo!There is a river near my grandparents’ house.At night,I can see a lot of stars there.I think that’s really great!
After lunch,my father and I wandered around the path enjoying the sunny spring sun.We talked to each other and learned from each other.
In the afternoon,my grandmother took me to visit their animals.My favourite animal is a dog; its name is “Ding Ding.” It has two big and bright eyes and a black and white tail.It has white fur all over its body.It looks really lovely!My grandmother also taught me how to wash flowers.
At supper,I ate my delicious food.My grandparents gave me too much to eat.I thanked them very much.
I enjoyed myself this day.I had a happy day!

Today is the Dragon Boat Festival,so I felt excited this morning when I got up.After having some Zongzi,I went out with my parents to the side of the river to watch the dragon-boat racing(赛龙舟)。When the racing began,I felt excited again.After that,we took part in the activity,throwing Zongzi into the river for this is a custom for a long time.I had a happy day today.

Last Sunday, I went to the town to visit my uncle. I was very excited, because I could see my cousin---Mingming there. He was my best friend. And they lived in the center of town, so it’s a great place to have fun, too. We arrived at eight o’clock; they were also happy to see us and gave us a warm welcome. After greeting my uncle and aunt, Mingming showed me around his house, and then we played outside. I saw many different things. At noon, uncle bought frying chicken for us, it was so good! I ate up mine quickly, so Mingming gave me some his. In the afternoon, he and I went to the library to read books. There were a lot of nice books there, and they were free to read! We read for two hours, then dad told me to go home. It was short time; I hoped to go there soon!

Last Sunday, I went to the town to visit my uncle. I was very excited, because I could see my cousin---Mingming there. He was my best friend.
