那是一个周六,就像以前,这是忙碌的一天.?外边父亲和Patrick 先生在门边忙着砍柴.在屋里妈妈和Patrick 夫人正在忙着春天的扫除.男孩们则带着他们的风筝溜到屋后的空地.现在他们甚至冒着他们的兄弟抓住后被打的危险,把他派去厨房拿更多的线.好像今天风筝可以想飞多高就飞多高没有限制.
我的妈妈看着客厅,那里的家具因为大扫除而被搬乱.她又一次望向窗外.“女孩们,快来!让我拿着线去找男孩们,然后看一会他们风筝.”
在路上我们遇到了Patrick太太,她内疚的笑好像她正在和女孩子门一起做什么错事.
再也没有哪天可以比那天更适合放风筝了.我们把新拿来的线接在男孩的风筝上,它们飞得越来越高了.我们几乎辨认不出那些橙色的小点就是风筝.有时我们我们慢慢把风筝拉回来,看着它在空中上下翩翩起舞.最后把它拉回地面也是为了下次以放飞的欣喜.
我们的父亲甚至也丢下了手中的工具加入了我们.我们的妈妈展现成另外的一面,就像小女生们一样.我想我们沉浸在快乐之中.父母忘记了他们的责任和他们的威严;孩子们则忘记了他们每天打斗和那小小的嫉妒.我恍惚感觉到“天堂可能就是这样子的吧”.
直到天渐渐黑了,我们才脱着困倦的脚步回家.我想我们吃了晚餐,我想家里肯定要做扫除,为了星期天家里可以看起来足够的干净和整洁.奇怪的是我们以后再也没有提起过这件事了.我觉得有些尴尬,因为其他人都没有想我那么兴奋.我把这些记忆深深所在心里,在那里这些记忆貌似不存在可又偏偏就是在那里(意思就是那些记忆藏在那里,只是没有被唤起)
时光飞逝,这天我正在我所住城市的公寓的厨房里忙绿时,我三岁的孩子哭着要求我带他去公园看鸭子.
我说:“我去不了,我要做这个做那个,当我都做完了我就累得走不动了.”
