As you know,Shanghai hosts the 2010 World Expo.So I went to Shanghai with * and *,our former classmates,during the summer holidays.Today,I’ll share my journey with you.We set off on the 8th of August.After three hours’s drive,we arrive at the place we live in,China Executive [iɡ'zekjutiv] Leadership ['li:dəʃip] Academy [ə'kædəmi] Pudong.The school is very large and there are many imposing [im'pəuziŋ] buildings.In the wonderful place,there were several black swans,which surprised us a lot.On the first day,we went to Shanghai Ocean Aquarium [ə'kwεəriəm] and Madame Tussaud's['mædəm tə'sɔ:dz].There are many famous people in Madame Tussaud's,such as Jacky Chan,Bill Gates,Yang Zhenning,Albert Einstein['ainstain] and so on.We went to Expo Park on the 9th of August.The weather was not very hot.It was unbelievable that we just visited two Pavilions.We waited for entering Japan pavilion in a queue [kju:] for more than six hours.What attracted me was a robert which could play the vilion.In my opinion,Japan pavilion just advertises toyota and other japanese enterprises ['entəpraiz].The visit was not a bit meaningful,but made me not a little tired.There are many delicious western food in Shanghai.We tried starbucks.A cup of Cappuccino [,kæpu'tʃi:nəu] was priced at about thirty yuan.It’s a little expensive.However,compared with Haagen-Dazs,the price is reasonable.This glass of ice-cream costs 68 yuan.The cake in Haagen-Dazs tasted good.We spent four days in shanghai and left on the 11th of August.It’s a pity that Love In Disguise [dis'ɡaiz] comes out on the 12th of August.
