（1)、死记硬背法
该方法其实不叫方法,或许可以叫“狂读狂写”法,因为无法带来任何高效率.其操作过程是,拿一本词汇书,从头看到尾,或一边狂读一边狂写.先看单词再看单词解释.有耐心的人们会看上几遍,到了6遍以上的时候基本也可以再认出多数的单词.但是时间耗费非常大,在进行的时候多数人往往半途而废.没有半途而废的一定也成功,毕竟只要重复学习,学习就一定有效果.但是这种盲目重复需要很多很多的时间,谓之低效率的记忆.
（2）、归纳记忆法
该方法指的是将“长的像”的英语单词归纳在一起,或者将意思差不多的单词归纳在一起,通过比较学习的方法,达到提高记忆的效果.
（3）、联想学习法
这是目前最流行,也是争议最大的一个方法.指的就是将一个单词通过科学的分解,或不科学的分解或联想,试图用人为创造出的一些本身容易记忆的记忆线索来达到对单词记忆的效果.典型有“三三联想记忆法”,以及去新东方培训时老师会提到的“联想记忆”.其原理都是如此.
（4）、词根记忆法
该种方法应该算是所有方法中最传统、最无争议的方法了.任何语言都有语素,**中的词根也是种语素.即体现在**历史发展过程中的最基本的语言基础.每一种词根都有固定的含义,由这一个或这一类词根构成的单词便结合该词根的含义.
