（一）Spring Festival
On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year. On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves. I had an interesting Spring Festival. （二）My Hobby
I would like to spend time on my hobbies, such as surfing the Internet. One of my favourite hobby is reading. Reading has been in my life for many years, since I began to learn characters. It can not only kill the time, but also, more important, help improve my comprehension ability. When reading, I can learn a lot. Reading Shakespears works, I know how Hamlet looks like. （三）Low Carbon
The concepts of low carbon are low energy and no waste. On the first place, a no-car day is supposed to set up in our school. Because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy. Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. Use our legs and enjoy the fun. On the second place, we had best not use plastic bags any more. So, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again.
All in all, it weighs greatly for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into practice. Just set our mind to these: no-car day and no plastic bags. Let’s do it now.
(四) Holidays and Outings
It is common in English to ask people about their holidays. In the West many families go away on holiday during the summer months and so it is very usual to ask about this. We know the Internet is playing a more and more important part in our daily life. On the Internet, we can get as much information as we can. We can send e-mails to our friends and talk to them as well. Besides, on the Internet we can read books, enjoy music and watch ball games. We can also do shopping without leaving our homes. But many students spend too much time playing Internet games. They waste a lot of time.
We must make good use of the Internet.
