第一题，前后两个分句的主语不一致，前一个是that引导的主语从句，主语是后面的整个事件，而后面一句话的主语是政府，所以应该为the government continues to protect.
第二题，这个是前后呼应，前面说年龄是用的是was,后面两年后用的是would,所以中间用的也应该是一般过去时was already.第三题，myself 前面加上i . 也即 i myself....
