Electronic weighing apparatus, electronic balance, electronic scale are welcomed to people by many advantages like accurate, fast, convenient, intuitive display...,etc. Comparing to traditional scale, electronic scale makes use of and realized by the new sensor, and high precision A/D converter, STC89C52 SCM as main controlling chip design, which has the features of high precision, powerful function...etc, Electronic scale which is designed in this thesis has the basic function of weighing, calculation, display, keyboard input prices, overweight alarm. The measuring range of the electronic scale is 0-10Kg, the measuring accuracy is down to 5g and it is featured of high accuracy, low cost, portable. Electronic scale uses LCD in displaying Chinese characters and measuring results. It is of higher accuracy and intuitive than the traditional scale. In addition, the electronic scale circuit is simple, of long service life, of wide application range. It can be used in shopping malls, supermarkets, places such as the family. It becomes an indispensable necessity in daily life.
