复式住宅一般是指每户住宅在较高的楼层中增建一个夹层，两层合计的层高要大大低于跃层式住宅，其下层供起居用，如炊事、进餐、洗浴等；上层供休息睡眠和贮藏用。
优点是：
（1）平面利用系数高，通过夹件层复合，可使住宅的使用面积提高50%~70%；
（2）户内隔层为木结构，将隔断、家具、装饰融为一体，既是墙，又是楼板、床、柜，降低了综合造价；
（3）上部层采用推拉窗户，通风采光好，与一般层高和面积相同住宅相比，土地利用率可提高40%。
不足在于：
（1）复式住宅面宽大、进深小，自然通风、采光较差；

Long time ago,people usually lived in bungalow.With the development of society,more and more builldings spring up.Thus,many people move into buildings.很早以前,人们通常都住在平房里面.随着社会的发展,很多楼房平地而起.这样,很多人搬进了楼房.
Nowadays,in buildings,there is estate management which can provide a lot convenience for you.And ,the environmental cleaness is done by special persons.But,you have to pay some fees for these services.Also,bulidings generally located in center of city.So,it is convenient for people to go to school or go to work.现如今,很多楼房有提供物业管理,这给人们带来很多便利.同时,环境卫生也有专门人员负责.但是你要为这些服务付点费用.楼房一般来说都位于市中心,这很方便人们上学或上班.

What we design is compound building,which also called compound apartment.
Generally,compound apartment is adding an interlayer in the highest floor of each apartment ,and total floors of two layer is much lower than spring-layer apartment.The downlayer is for daily life,like cooking,dining,bathing etc.And,uplayer is for sleeping and storing.
Advantage is :
1)Plane using coefficient is high and through clipping a layer to compound can increase 50%-70% floorage of apartment.
2)Indoor interlayer is timberwork that integrate partition,furniture and decoration.It can be wall ,floor,bed or cabinet which decreases comprehensive cost.
3)Up-layer adopts push-and-pull window,ventilation and lighting is good.Compared with ordinary apartment with the same height and area,its land use efficiency can be increased by 40%.
Disadvantage is:
1)Compound apartment is wide but with small depth,and it is natural draft and lighting is bad.
