How to Reduce Stress
Stress is an inevitable part in our normal life. Many kinds of things, such as natural disasters, war and death can cause too much stress in our life. But according to a psychologist, on a day-to-day basis, stress may result from the small things: taking an exam, waiting in line, and having too many things to do in a limited time.
We all need stress to add flavor, challenge, and opportunity to life, but too much stress can seriously affect our physical and mental well-being, It reduces the body’s immunity and harms the brain, If the stress lasts a long time, it may cause physical illness, insomnia, headaches, backaches, ulcers, high blood pressure-even heart disease.
When stress does occur, it’s important to recognize and deal with it. There ore some methods we can try. A large number of physical activities can reduce onxiety. Shoring our stress with others can be enormously helpful. Making time for fun such os listening to music may be good medicine. Sometimes even crying is on efficient way to releose stress.
Peer Pressure
What is Peer Pressure? We all have an idea what that is. But for those who don't I will explain it, Peer Pressure is when you are encouraged by friends and people your own age to do something that you do not feel completely comfortable with.
Some may disagree with me but Peer Pressure is not always a bad thing. It can help in many different ways. For Example, most teenagers get pressured into getting good grades or to push themselves to take chances and that's what we need to have in our lives. A little extra something to help us build up our self-confidence.
This Pressure can also be a bad thing. Just as it helps to push us to do well it can damage the emotional health of a person as well. For an example, when you are hanging out with some friends and they begin to smoke.
You know that's not a good thing but they are "Like, come on, don't worry about it, nothings going to happen to you. I do it all the time", and they are constantly pressuring you to. You begin to feel like well, if I don't do it they won't want to hang out with me. That's Peer Pressure.
Everywhere someone or teenager is under this kind of pressure so you're not the only one.
You may think that you have complete control over these pressures but when a situation arise your ideas may not be as clear as they are at another time.
How do you prepare yourself to face peer pressure and win? The answer is simple.
It is tough to be the only one who says "no" to peer pressure, but you can do it. Paying attention to your own feelings and beliefs about what is right and wrong can help you know the right thing to do. Inner strength and self-confidence can help you stand firm.
Good morning, everybody!
In this world, there is one thing that is very fair to everybody, whether you are a male or female, young or old, rich or poor. Does anybody know what it is called?
Right. It is time. The topic I am going to present to you today is called “ Treasure Every Minute”.
The clock is running. Make the most of today.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with.
And remember that time waits for no one. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present! The clock is running. Make the most of today.
Good luck, everybody!
