East and West are often used in cultural discussions.World's major cultures can be divided into these two categories.Cultures in the East is more associated with Confucianism or more content intensive.Western cultures are more civillized,more morden and more liberal.However,culture is more complex.With labour migrations and growth of immigrants in Western countries,their societies receive new cultures from the East.When cultures encountered,new cultures emerge.Therefore,cultural boundaries become less clear.This is also applicable in International cities or countries like Beijing,HK,Japan and Singapore.For instance,Japan is identified as Western country due to its economic advancement,but it is culturally very East. 

It is difficult to identify which common phobias that all people exhibit.However,it is believed that most people are afraid of lonelyness,darkness and un-identified objects.Human beings are social creatures that can not stand long-term lonelyness.People work with people,live with people and groups.Lont-term isolation will make people feel loney,helpless and hopeless which affect their mental health.Darkness and un-identified objects are common phobias mainly because "danger" and "monsters" are often associated with them.For instance,unidentifed objects like ghosts,spirits,or virus may cause social unstable or even social instability.

Traffic in Beijing has been a fierce issue.No matter ‘Licience-plate lottery’ or ‘traffic control’,people in Beijing or travelling to Beijing complain a lot.Due to its high population intensity,public transportations are under great pressure.I don't know what will be effective on this stage,but cycling to work or to school might be a good alternative. 

1.Yeah.western and eastern countries are quite different. Also cultures. Simple but clear.
2.Terrorism event. I suppose.
3. It's not our bussiness.
