It had changed the people’s view on foreign language teaching,making us more understanding about foreign language teaching. In recent years, our country’s testing board had also done some beneficial explorations to the socializing language testings. They have developed some tests using the theory of socializing test for guidance. Such as the Public Examination Test System (PETS) and the English level4 and level 6 oral tests for university students (CET--SET). However, the theory of socializing test and the actual practice still need further improvements, especially the topic of the socializing tests, the scientific character of judging standards and its effectiveness, all of these questions have not yet been solved satisfactorily. The huge number of foreign language workers of our country should join in the revolution work of the foreign language test methods. Start off with our country’s practical foreign language tests, and find a socializing language test module which would be most suitable for our country’s cultural needs.
