How do you do!
My name is XX, I am relatively a queit person who may give others a feeling of being reserved. However, just because of this kind of character, I am able to work calmly and steadily. "To think before to act" is the best description to me. My biggest hobby is reading, besides, I enjoy playing badminton. I read books for my own interest, so the most books which i've been reading are in Chinese, novels in particular. Because I think that novels are fresh and alive and full of imaginations. i have a good level of Chinese, which should be gained from reading. I have participated in some competitions of Reading Reprot and Compositoin, though I haven't won a champion yet, which also enables me to learn about my own shortcomings. It is not enough for just having a good inspiration but lacking of word expression. This is the so-called " You only regret that you've been reading too less when you need to use them." I have heard that the Department of Chinese in the XX University is quite outstanding. So I hope I can have an opportunity to study here and to gain an in-depth understanding about the Chinese history, culture and applications in order to contribute to the Chinese field.
