----Ok.What happens when you try to turn it on?打开时情况怎么样?
----Nothing happens.The screen is black.
----I see.I am going to send one of our technicians to your house to see if he can fix it.If he can’t we’ll send you a new TV set with no extra cost to you.
----Wow!That is so kind of you!Can your technician help me turn the electricity in my apartment back on too?把电同时也接上行吗?
----Oh,you have no electricity!I think I know what’s wrong with your TV!

2． 无论结果如何,都应当表示感谢.常用的表达方式有：
We would fell much obliged…
…will be greatly appreciated.
with deepest thanks and appreciation…
有时也可以把两个方面放在一个句子里,如：
We would ask you,with deepest thanks and appreciation,to take the trouble of writing for us about your full support of our shop as well as your confidence in our position.
