An unforgettable thing

As the years goes by, many things fade away my memory except one thing: The first time, I rushed home by myself from the seaside which is far away from my home. It continues in my memory just happened yesterday which bring me a lot of joy when I review the past.

When I was a little girl, I was very fond of my aunt so that I can’t allow anyone got close to her. I believed that she is my aunt, thus, she belongs to me. One day, my aunt took me to the seaside which is far away from my home. In my mind, I truly believed that it was the two of us who would share the happy time by the sea. At first, it was really beautiful day. The sun shined softly on the beach and there are many white clouds in the blue sky. My aunt and I sat on the beach, enjoying the see breeze. But later, everything was change, because an invader turned up. The invader was my aunt’s boyfriend who later became my aunt’s husband. Since the appearance of the invader, my aunt was always talked to him, which made me very annoyed. She was so absorbed in the talking with the invader that she didn’t realize that I was not beside her. I was too

angry to say anything. Then a thought appeared in my mind i.e. rush home. As I did so, I was very scared since I never went home by myself and I was fear that I would lost my way and some bad guys might catch me. I was so dreadful but cheer myself up by saying that god will save me because I was kind all the way home. I well remember that I was running all the way. When I saw my mother, I burst into tear and hugged her tightly. After I tell my mother everything, she burst into laughter and said: “oh little things, you are jealous. But we must give your aunt a call or she might look for you.”…

As a child I felt I was right at that time, however, as an adult I truly believe that I was wrong because it could happen anything unexpected. Every time I recall this unforgettable thing I always feel lucky for myself and it always remind me not to be so impetuous.

Recently there around a concern that Leifeng spirit has gone out of style in today’s society. Some people believe that Leifeng spirit has gone out of style but others hold the idea that Leifeng spirits never falls. I hold the idea that the latter outweighs the former.

Last but not least, Leifeng spirit is an indispensable part of our traditional culture. With the development of Leifeng spirit, it gradually becomes part of our traditional culture. Now that Leifeng spirit is our culture, we can not deny it with the reason that it has gone out of style. Also, Leifeng spirit has deeply rooted in our mind and our national character. So denying Leifeng spirit is to deny ourselves, which is not wise.
