这个假期，我们一家来到了上海野生动物园，看见了许多野生动物，还有幸与来自非洲的鸵鸟亲密接触了一下。

穿过一片广阔如茵的草坪，我的目光被世界最大的鸟——鸵鸟吸引住了。又高又细的腿，长长的脖子，灰灰的羽毛，挺拔的身姿，像一位世界名模向我们款款走来。忽然，一阵喧闹声传来。我转过头去，发现一只鸵鸟正在吃一样黄色的东西。我走到栅栏前一看，才看清它正在吃一个黄色的塑料袋。看得我好紧张呀！我朝这只鸵鸟大喊：“这个不能吃呀！这个不能吃的呀！”虽然我叫得很卖力，无奈语言不通，它根本不理会，我真担心它会吃坏肚子。我们继续往前走，很幸运地看见了鸵鸟跳舞的精彩瞬间。它们拍打着翅膀，一只在原地打转，一只边走边跳，好像在跳街舞。

这时，旁边的一只鸵鸟引起了我的注意。它正含情脉脉地望着我，似乎有千言万语要向我诉说。我知道它是在向我要食物呢！于是，我掰了半块面包，怕它会啄到我手，所以把面包放在一个盒子里，拿到栅栏，小心翼翼地把盒子往里面移了移。鸵鸟看见了，昂首阔步地朝我走来，一口叼走了面包。可是，就在那一瞬间，我却吓得跳了起来，把盒子都扔了。鸵鸟也被我的这一举动吓了一跳，嘴里的面包也掉了。我又把另一半面包喂给它。因为有了第一次的经验，我的胆子大了一点儿，没有再把鸵鸟吓到，喂完了大鸵鸟，我又去喂小鸵鸟。我给它们喂小饼干。我将饼干放到木栏边上，小鸵鸟很轻松地啄到了饼干，我也轻松地放手。我们配合得很默契。另一只小鸵鸟同样也与我配合默契。我喂喂这只喂喂那只，引得游客都驻足观看，有人还把我和小鸵鸟们拍进了相片里呢！

能和鸵鸟友好相处，让我觉得很荣幸，也很快乐！

篇二：鸵鸟

鸵鸟

鸵鸟是虽然是种鸟，但不会飞，跑得却很快，平时速度达80km/h，最快达140km/h。鸵鸟也是世界上现存体型最大的鸟，高可达2.5米，体重达135公斤。全身有黑色的羽毛，脖子长而无毛，翼短小，腿长。鸵鸟大部分生活在非洲。

鸵鸟的后肢既长又粗大，只有两趾，是鸟类中趾数最少者。后肢强而有力，除用于疾跑外，还可向前踢用以攻击。

雌性（hens）鸵鸟的毛色大致与雄鸟（cocks）相似，只是毛色棕灰不像雄鸟那么艳丽。幼鸟（Chicks）羽色棕灰斑驳，须经数次换羽，至两岁时才能达到成鸟的羽色。值得注意的是，鸵鸟的排尿和排粪是分开的，这与其他鸟类不同。

鸵鸟在遇到危险时会将头埋在沙子中的说法，其实是人类的一种误解。事实上，鸵鸟受惊或发现敌情时，会将潜望镜似的脖子平贴在地面，身体蜷曲一团，以暗褐色的羽毛伪装成石头或灌木丛。

鸵鸟将头和脖子贴近地面，还有两个作用，一是可听到远处的声音，有利于及早避开危险；二是可以放松颈部肌肉，更好地消除疲劳。事实上，并没有人看到过鸵鸟将头埋进沙子里去的情景，如果是那样，沙子会把鸵鸟闷死的。
