已经是深夜了，司马迁通过天牢的小窗，望着那漆黑的夜。幽蓝的天幕上，不见星也不见月，几处乌云低低地沉着，带着令人窒息的压力。暮秋的风裹着寒气，钻进每个角落，包括司马迁那件破旧的长衫。

穿越千年历史，这一天我和心中的英雄司马迁生活在一起，我是一个卑微的小吏。

我再次走到司马迁近旁悄声心痛地说：“太史公大人，我可以帮您逃离天牢，从此隐姓埋名，便可躲过此劫，日出之前，您要做好选择，否则就没机会了。”昏暗的灯光下，司马迁猛然站起：“人固有一死，或轻于鸿毛，或重于泰山。死，用一腔热血去控诉昏君的无道，用高贵的头颅去证明自己的清臼；活，忍辱偷生，完成未竟事业，使文采表于后世。岂可隐姓埋名，湮没于世？”

司马迁拖动着脚镣，走回几块砖堆成的床。金属的撞击声在死一般静的夜里，带着几分鬼魅。床上那盏昏黄的油灯跳动着火焰，拖下长长的抖动的影子，似乎加重了黑暗。

我一定要想办法营救我心中的英雄司马迁。“太史公大人，还有一条路，以您的才华和文笔，给皇帝写一封认错信，一定能让他改变主意，怎么样？时间不多了，您赶快写，小人拼了命，一定在天亮前，把信送到皇帝手中。”

太史公一动不动，然而借助昏暗的灯光，我能感受到，无法遏的愤怒在他心中升腾。昨日朝堂的场景历历在目，当汉武帝在歇斯底里地咆哮时，当满朝文武双股战战时，当李陵一下子从英雄被定性为叛徒时，司马迁觉得胸中有什么东西压着。司马迁与李陵并无交好，然而他不能容忍，为国家出生入死的将士，遭人污蔑。为此他奋起抗争，替李陵辩护，为此他不惜触怒龙颜。我凝神屏气，等待我的太史公做出决断，时间一分一秒地流逝，四周寒气在凝结。终于太史公打破沉寂坚定地说：“谢谢你，但是，著成信史是我的使命！”

也许，他想到过屈原的投江；想到过孤竹君的儿子们在首阳山的遗骸：他想到过抛弃这

个世界，这个昏暗、污浊的世界，便是死，他也应该是个大丈夫。怎能接受世间的奇耻大辱！

司马迁再次掏出父亲交给他的笔。父亲临终时那双忧怨的眼睛，仿佛浮现在他眼前。他清楚地记得，父亲指着案上的书，哽咽着，然后看了他一眼。他理解那一眼的重量与意味着的责任，是的，他永远都不会忘记——究天人之际，通古今之变，著成信史照尘寰。

司马迁在床边坐了下来，闭上眼，沉默了好久好久，他的胸口在剧烈地起伏，他的手指在不停地颤抖??东方发白了，牢外传来一声吆喝：“司马迁，想好了没有？”

“愿受极刑而无愠色。”面对司马迁的坦然，我禁不住泪水滑落。

千年之后，一位诗人说：“真正的勇敢不是为某件事壮烈地死去，而是为某件事卑贱地活着。”一阵秋风呜咽着，吹起《史记》发黄的纸页，我知道那是史家之绝唱，从远古传来。

As is widely acknowledged, whatever small good deeds we do can definitely make a big difference in our life. I learned this from one of my experiences that I went through during my Senior One school life.

One day, when I was wandering through the street, I suddenly witnessed an old man fall to the ground. Without hesitation, I hurried to help him stand up and rested him in a street chair nearby. What surprised me most was that some classmates warned me not to do it again as the family might mistake me for the offender. I was so frustrated that I almost accepted the fact that I had really done something improper. From then on, whenever possible and wherever necessary, I am always willing to give a helping hand to those in need.
