Myfavorite festivalis Spring Festival. It’sthe most important festival in China . It’s celebrated on the first day of the Chinese lunar calendar .Before the festival , our houses have to be cleaned and we need to buy new clothes for a new year’s coming.

On the eve , my family goes to mygrandparents’ home forareuniondinner . Our family usuallyhasa big meal. We have dumplings 、fish、niaogao anda great many dishes. On the first day of New Year , people usually wear their new clothes and visit theirrelatives and friends . Childrenwill receivered packets filled with“ lucky money ”. That’s one of my favorite parts ofthis festival.

My Favorite Festival

My favorite festival is Spring Festival. It usually comes in January or in February. Before the Chinese New Year, we are always busy shopping and cleaning our houses . On Chinese New Year’s Evening, we have a big family dinner . We usually eat some traditional Chinese food . It tastes delicious . After dinner , we often watch New Year programmes till midnight . I can get some red pockets with money in them from my parents and grandparents . I can buy what I want with the money .
