【内容摘要】写的能力培养是英语学科能力结构中的一个重要方面，英语写作是人们运用英语文字进行记录、传播信息和表述思想的语言交流活动。《新课程标准》尤其突出“能够用英语做事”，特别是强调语言的内化，本文旨在从当前初中学生写作的现状及存在的问题的出发，深入探讨作文教学的策略及如何在教学中就阅读输入；阶梯训练;激活写作思维等方式渐进地培养学生用英语书面语去表达自己的思想。

一、学生习作存在的问题

由于我国的英语学习者受学习内容、学习环境及教学方法的制约,导致学生在英语作文时存在着诸多的问题。请看下面这篇学生习作：

1.1.内容表达平淡,缺乏思想性

学生易受生活经验的影响，尤其是山区学生由于其汲取社会信息的渠道比较狭窄；生活阅历相当浅显；教材中一些话题远离学生的实际生活与需要；教师在教学过程中对一些具有思想性的话题采取回避的态度,如：Do you think it’s cool to smoke in public? If I had enough money??Learn to smile等,这些因素导致学生在作文时无法充分表达出一定的思想性。

1.2.词汇积累匮乏,缺乏准确性

在写作实践中，缺乏必要的词汇积累，而无法清楚适切地表达自己的思想，当前新课标教材所含语言材料有限，每个模块都是一个独立的话题，且编写方式是非螺旋式的，同步的阅读材料跟不上，导致词汇复现频率低，导致写作时无法灵活运用一些较高级的单词和短语,表达层次较低语言单纯,幼稚.另外,词汇运用也缺乏准确性,如在上面这篇学生习作中: Most of people know smoking was bad 在学生的习作中经常会见到这样的句子：his watch.No matter what I do,I can’t my grade.He is a 1.3.句型运用单一,缺乏丰富性

学生作文时多用简单句和并列句，句式结构主要是“SVO”或“SVP”结构，因此文章显得单调，句式运用没有主被动语态之分，多使用陈述语序，对时态的把握上也欠准确.这里主要有两个原因：其中英汉语言的不同结构特点是造成学生写作时出现病句；错句的主要原因，当然我们不能忽视的另外一个原因是教育的功利化，许多教师在作文教学中生怕学生出错，不鼓励学生运用一些经典的，复杂的句式,没有成语、谚语及修辞方面的运用。在中考评价文章时以语言错误少为首要的标准等.在这种思想的指导下,学生的习作只会越来越”贫瘠”,也就更谈不上利用写作进行语言的内化了.

1.4.行文顺序混乱,缺乏逻辑性

学生在写作时思路不清晰,写作的内在结构,中心大意的线索与段落布局不合乎逻辑.学生在作文时没有层次感；在表(转载于:www.Zw2.cN 爱 作 文 网)达自己内在思想时没有暂停、转折、强调、展开和升华。文章基本上由若干个单句合成了事，不注意联系上下文的连词、副词、介词词组和插入语等的运用，基本不具备构段的能力，即使有一定的构段能力，在构段时一些重要的过渡词汇的掌握与运用也显得极为浅薄。.

1.5.书写习惯随意,缺乏规范性

相当一部分学生不能清楚地书写，字母书写不规范，不能正确使用大、小写字母，英文标点符号，及正确地将单词移行等。在起始阶段就没有养成良好的书写习惯，从而影响书面表达的质量.书写是作文的基本常规，同样是构成一篇优美文章的要素之一。

二、阅读引领---培养写作思维

英语书面表达是一个英语语言运用的过程.从语言发展的规律上来看，要准确、精密和规范地运用书面语，学生首先要进行持久大量的积累.只有“厚”积才能 “薄”发.在许多英语习作中我们会发现大量的“中国化”的英文句子.究其原因是因为学生缺乏英语的语感.一篇地道的英文习作是建立在特有的英语思维基础上自如地生成的.要形成英语思维及语感则要通过阅读来培养. “读书破万卷,下笔如有神”这句语言学习的名句深刻地诠释了:阅读－写作的源泉.写作是提高阅读效果的最佳途径（田德新，1993）.而当前英语教材中所含的语言材料有限，很多英语课堂仍以纯粹的语法与词汇为主，学生接触到依然是一个个孤立的单词与语法，这样，对学生英语知识快速大量的积聚是相当不利的.只有大量的语料的输入，形成自己的隐性知识，在需要时才能较容易地提取，做到“厚积薄发”。

2.1.要注重输入语料的“量”

要想写好英语的书面表达首先应拥有一定的词汇量，而大量的语言材料输入是积累单词的主要途径，在英语的听、说、读、写四项基本技能中，听和读是语言输入过程，说和写是语言输出过程，既然写出是一种输出过程，就需要足够多的语料输入，语料的输入量直接影响着写的输出质量。

2.2.要注重输入语料的“质”.

在选择阅读语料时还要注意 “质”与 “量”的关系.教师在选择阅读材料时要选择内容精湛;语言规范;结构严密;品位深刻的文章,要使学生通过对这些佳作的欣赏与阅读能从中升华思想;汲取营养;积累语言经验.久而久之,英语语感的生成便是自然的了.

2.3. 要注重输入语料的“析”.在学生已经具备一定的阅读能力的基础上,教师要注重对阅读材料的分析.分析所读文章的宏观结构;写作思路;同时可指导学生积累大量的经典的例句.从而在一定程度上获得对英语写作的感性认识.

三、分级训练---获得写作能力

写作课教学要有计划性、系统性，不能搞考前突击，希望学生短时间内在写作上有质的飞跃是不现实的。《标准》中关于写的能力目标的设定遵循的是语言学习的规律和不同阶段学生的特点，提出了三级别的要求：三级：能参照范例或借助图片写出简单的句子; 四级：能写便条或简单的书信.五级：能根据提示起草

或修改小作文，要让写作形成一种良性循环，不能采用“跳跃式”的教学策略。要分级训练，夯实写作基础.

3.1.造句训练---写作的“基础”

对目前初中生英语作文稍加分析,不难发现学生在这方面的错误非常普遍其相当严重的,造成这种现状的原因有二点:一是教师认识不到位.二.缺乏科学的训练.许多教师只关注英语词汇的书写,而对词汇的运用的重要性缺乏认识.尤其目前正在使用的《GO FOR IT》教材词汇量大,但复现率很低,造成许多学生在写作时提取困难;教师在词汇教学中应多采取例句呈现,图片示例等方式进行教学,从而使学生在写作时养成用词准确的写作习惯.同时在许多学生的作文中,句法的错误也是常见的.如: Now some students think smoking is a very cool thing and start smoking.【Now some students think smoking is a very cool thing and then start smoking.】I think cigarette is a very bad thing for our healthy.【I think cigarette is very bad for our health】When rains,I usually stay at home.【When it rains,I usually stay at home.】There are 60% of the students think they should have a good rest at weekends.【60% of the students think they should have a good rest at weekends.】除了上述错误之外,其实还有很多.教师在写作教学中应针对英汉句型的不同,多做遣词造句及句型转换的训练.

3.2段落训练---写作的“核心”

许多学生的作文内容单调,主要原因在于在段落写作时没有拓展,教师在对于句子与段落之间的转换要进行运用过渡词的训练.初中英语中过渡性词语主要有如下一些:1)时间过渡:now/soon/later on… 2)目的过渡:so that/so as to/in order that… 3)结果过渡:so/therefore/as a result …4)比较过渡:in the same way/just like…
