1.抱怨产品质量
Dear Sir,
I am happy that the refrigerator we ordered last week has arrived on time. But it is a great pity that we find there is something wrong with the refrigeration facilities.
After we used it for several days. we found that food stored in the refrigerating compartment turned bad quickly. When we finally decided to take the temperature in it, we were surprised to find it was around 15℃, far from the standard temperature range from 0℃ to 9℃.
This problem has affected our normal life. Would you please let me know whether or not you can send a repairman as soon as possible? I hope that my problem will get your kind consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Li Ming
2抱怨服务质量
Dear Sir or Madam,
Much of my regret, I write this to place a complaint against one of your shop-assistants about his had service. Yesterday morning about 10 o’clock my husband, I and a lady friend of ours came to your shop with the intention to buy some souvenirs. One of the shop-assistants, whose badge we could decide which one to buy. Under the circumstances, it was the shop-assistant’s duty to do what was asked or to explain why he was unable to comply with such a request. Instead of
minding his duty and acting in a polite, he turned a deaf ear to our request and walked away murmuring in a sarcastic manner.
We wish you would look into this unsatisfactory state of affairs and take steps to prevent a recurrence of offensive conduct of this kind.
Yours sincerely,
Fan Yang
3.抱怨房间问题
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am at present living in a house which I rented through your agency. I am sorry to inform you that the heating system in the house stopped working some time ago.
I phoned your agency and explained the problem one week ago, but you have still not sent anybody to fix the heating system. This is very inconvenient--not to mention dangerous to the health--as the weather is starting to get colder. I am puzzled as to why you have not paid attention to this urgent matter. I must remind you that a fully operative heating system is one of the terms of the lease of the house.
Therefore, I would very much appreciate it if you would send a technician to repair the system as soon as possible. He may call at any time during the day, as either I or my wife will be at home all this week.
Yours sincerely,
Fan Yang

Dear Sir,
I am writing to let you know the deplorable attitude of one of your staff members. I received my telephone bill for the previous month from you and thought there were some errors in calculation; I had been overcharged for two overseas calls.
However, when I called your Complaints Department, the girl who answered my phone was very rude. For one thing she interrupted me continually; for another she even said that it was my own fault. Needless to say, such a way of dealing with customers is unacceptable.
I would like to suggest that the girl in question should be disciplined, and instructed on the proper way to deal with clients. And I hope she can make a formal apology to me.
An early response will be appreciated.
Sincerely yours, Li Hua 5.
Dear Mr. Smith,
I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with your company’s service. First, we were asked to pay for the tickets for some scenic spots, which should have been paid for by the agent. Second, we were extremely disappointed at the food and the living conditions of the hotels we stayed in. Almost all the food was cold and the noises outsides the hotels made it difficult for us to fall asleep. Worst of all, when we complained to the guide about the service, she was rather rude and quarreled with us. All in all, it was really a terrible trip.
I trust you will look into this matter and give me a replay as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua

June 18th, 2009 Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm a Chinese student who will graduate from college in the coming July and wishes to study for M.A.degree in your university. my plan is to start my course next term and I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to provide me with the information below.
First, what are the qualifications needed for studying as a postgraduate student in your university? I'm going to take bachelor's degree from Beijing University, but I wonder if they're any further academic requirements.Do I need to
take the GRE test? Second, how much are the tuition fees? Although I intend to be self-supporting, I wonder if there are any scholarships available for the international students .Third, what about the accommodation? I would prefer a single room, which is more conducive to studying .But if single rooms are expensive, I would be willing to share.,I'm looking forward to your early reply, and to attending your prestigious institution.
Sincerely yours,
Li Ming
