My life as a Junior Two student

How time flies! I am in Year 8. I think it is very important to us. Now we have eight lesson’s every day. So I will work hard. We have more homework than Year 7. Sometimes it is not very easy. I usually don’t finish my homework until 9.30 p.m.. Then I go to sleep. I often have a good dream. I enjoy my life because it is full of fun.

As a Junior Two student, I have a healthy and wonderful life.

I always get up at 6.30 a.m., wash and put on my school uniform. I usually walk to school because I live near my school. At eight o’clock, I have my first lesson. I usually achieve A grades in most of my subjects. After school, I play the piano at home. I always eat healthy food such as vegetables and rice for dinner. I enjoy my life because it’s not only full of fun but also meaningful.

Now I am a Junior Two student. My life is much busier than before. But it is still enjoyable. My life is healthy. I usually get up at half past six in the morning. After putting on my clothes and washing, I go jogging for 20 minutes to make my body strong. Then I walk to school. Now I have a new subject, Physics. Although it is not very easy, I think I will work harder to learn it better. My life is interesting. After school, I do my homework first. And then I read some books to enlarge my knowledge. I go to bed before 10 p.m. . I enjoy my life now because I get a lot of fun and happiness. I think my life is very meaningful.

Now I am in Year 8. In the morning, I have four lessons and in the afternoon I have five lessons. I have a good friend named Mike at school. He often helps me with my English because I’m poor at it. But I’m good at Physics. At school, we always play basketball. I usually take part in all kind of contests. I feel happy and the new teachers are all kind to us. When we are in difficulties, they always encourage us not to be afraid of them. After lunch, I usually go to the library to read books and borrow some magazines. I like to know what is happening in the world.

At about 6 p.m., school is over. We have much more homework than before. How busy we are! But I like our school and our teachers as well. How about you?

Everybody has his or her own dream. Without a dream, people would feel void, lose the motivation of fighting, and be obsolete little by little. Some people want to be milliners while others want to be scientists, doctors, and teachers. For me, I have different dreams at the different stages of my life.

When I was a child, I want to have lot of money, because I want to have many toys. If I have a lot of money, I can buy the factory which makes toys then I can have enough toys to play.

However, my dream changed as I growing up. At the stages of senior school and middle school, I hope I can have enough time to play but not to do so much homework. At these two stages, I was compelled to stay at classroom for most of my days;

While I was still a girl, I loved watching TV deeply.

As long as my parents were not at home, I turned on and watched TV until my parents came home. As time went by, I became a short-sighted person. Therefore I was forbidden to watch TV. But most of time, my parents were busy with their job outside, so I was always at home alone and watched TV secretly. Since the Television is a kind of electric appliance, it radiates heat while it works, so the top of television would feel hot after I watched TV. As a result of this, when my parents came back home, they would find out and punish me. However, the punishment couldn’t prevent me from watching TV. I came up with an idea, that is, to put a wet towel on top of the television so that it would be cooled. By using this method, I spent my childhood in the company of television. Of cause, at the same tine, I became a severely short-sighted girl.

There is no doubt that watching TV is my hobby and I have watched a quantity of TV programs. The cartoons, TV series, movies, entertainment programs, science programs, culture programs, music programs, finance programs, and news. TV programs are colorful.

As far as I’m concerned, watching TV can be classified into three categories. The grade-three watching TV is to watch some stupid, meaningless programs, can not make people laugh, cry or understand something, but only can make people feel sick. For example, the Taiwan youth idol TV series: They kiss. It’s nothing but boring. The grade-two watcher is someone who watches the interesting programs that can make people laugh or cry so that they can relax and start to work happily again. For example, the entertainment TV program Happy Camp. Watching some full of information, can make people understand theories or can teach people lessons, meaningful programs is what I called grade-one watching TV. Through watching this kind of programs you can broaden your sight, and become a knowledgeable man. Such as these programs: the Discovery, the Dialogue and the World News.

I am very glad to consider watching TV as my hobby, and I am willing to become a grade-one watcher.
