（2）不定式：这种句型中的不定式通常要带to；但当其前面的动词是do,或只有情态动词时,but后面的不定式要省去to
把work看成名词的话,那就符合第一种情况
把work看成动词的话,因为want不是情态动词,所以to不能省略
不过我还是认为I want nothing but to work更常用,老外们也是这么说话的,比如i want nothing but to cry
考试的时候遇到nothing but 这种类型的题的话,句子里面一般不考want这个词,而是考do或者can,这个时候一定要省略 to
动名词也是名词,所以能接动名词.
