DREAM——A world-changing word!
Hello,everybody !it is my great honor to be here and share my idea with you .Today,I will talk something about DREAM——A worldchanging word.
“What do you think is the word that has really changed our world ”
When I was asked about this question for the first time ,without thinking a second time,a word flashed into my mind ——DREAM ,D-R-E-A-M.People dream more or less about different things ,to be a teacher ,a doctor ,a scientist ,a businessman and so on .All the people who have dreams should be respected ,because Dreams make the world go around .We're growing greater with our dreams.All big men are great dreamers in their youth.Not only does Everyone have a dream ,but also everything starts as one’s daydream.
Martin Luther king had a dream.He desired for a future where both blacks and whites would coexist harmoniously as equals.By speaking the way he did,he educated,he inspired,he informed not just the people there,but people throughout America and unborn generations.He pushed forward the pace of black American society to the racial equality .
Thomas Edison had a dream.He dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity,begenning where he stood to put his dream into action,and despite more than ten thousand failures,he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality!And today,his dream lights up the whole world at night.
Walt Disney had a dream,which,in itself,wasn't unusual -- he was always dreaming.He dreamed of making the first animated feature film,and of building an amusement park where parents,together with their kids,could enjoy themselves.Walt Disney empowered his dream and today,Disneyland,Disney world and Disney theme parks attract around the world thrill millions of visitors each year.
John F.kennedy had a dream.He wanted to land a man on the moon and return him safely to the earth so as to restore faith in the American way of life.John F.kennedy empowered his dream and 8 years later Neil Armstrong stepped on the face of the moon.The moon landing certainly gave Americans a newly-founded confidence.
Dream --- A world-changing word?Yes ,I will say so ,won't you
Youth is a special life-relaying station ,the growth with the worry ,the life feeling become aware happily with the dream ,collecting a unique youth melody here .
We decide.We choose.And as we decide and choose,our lives are formed.In the end,forming our own destiny is what ambition is about.And most important,we are the one we choose to be.
It is easy to waste our lives ,our days ,or our minutes .It is easy to exist than to live .So hold fast to your dreams,For if dreams die,life is a broken-winged bird,which cannot fly.Hold fast to your dreams,For when dreams go away,life is a barren field,Frozen with snow.
I hope you,he,and I,everyone will have a dream!

------courage
It is universually believed that words always have the great power to inspire our human beings,especially when we are in difficuties and even in desperate times.Of all the inspiring words,I chose courage as the most powerful one that has ever changed and will go on changing the world.Why this one? Some will argue that isn't it love that makes our world more beautiful and technology makes our life more wonderful.But I am still not convinced for the following reasons.
First I think that courage removes our fear,no matter it is the fear towards the unknown world,the new things or the comments from others. We must admit that courage plays a important role in our first try on something new and it helps us to accept others' criticises reasonablly.We will never forget that it is 5 centuries ago,after groups of courageous European navigators set sail through the vast Altantic to their dreaming eastern world that the world began to integrate and the human history has turned over to a new page.
In addition,courage gives us the permission to be human.We are just humans.We do have some kinds of shortages or disadvantages and we can not avoid making mistakes.With courage,we can accept our fault bravely,apologize to those we hurt sincerely and forgive ourselves advisably.
Last but not least,courage provides us the power to keep on trying.Life can not be plain sailing.We will surely suffer from difficulties and failures,but when we have courage,we can face our failure directly,and learn from failure and have another try.Thomas Edison,one of the greatest scientists,should also be regarded as the most courageous person,because we know that before he successfully invented the elctric lamp,he has failed thousands of times.
To conclution,courage is the most powerful word that has changed the world.It relifes our fear,gives us the permission to making mistakes and motivates us to try again.Chrishing courage,work hard and we will become somebody.

A word that has changed the world
People believe that the word "love" is the motivation of all desires and commitments on earth. Because the word "love" can mean more than just what the word stands for. "Love" is a symbolism of passion, kindness, and it means to have affection to someone or something. I also believe that “love” is the word that can change the world. Because of love, something that used to be impossible can be made possible, something that you never really liked to do you can end up loving. Because of “love” there is the future generations, and “love” is one of the main element that drives the world forward, to a better generation, a better future. I know that it’s cheesy to say things like that, but it is the truth. Thus the word that has changed the world, and will continue to do so, is “love”.

Actually that one word, just ONE, can change the world I think is power.For one thing,you can talk about the power of love,smile,knowledge,faith,ideal,inspiration,encouragement etc.that can change a person's self-image/life; for another,you can also talk about the power of nature(eg:the natural disasters),technology,science,politics(democracy),peace etc. that can change the development of society.

I don't think that one word necessarily could change the world but there are many "one" words you could use that have much power. The obvious would be love but most people do not understand the type of love that is important; it is Godly love. Other words that have meaning are: 1. Integrity = To stand up for something that has a meaning 2. Value = Some things could be of small value, where others are of large value (spiritually) 3. Faithfulness = Goes along with being an honest and moral person 4. Humility = To be able to know ones place and not think so highly of ones self and views 5. Tenacious = This is one of those new words that I have latched onto. :) I think of a bull dog or pit bull with their huge mouths and strong jaws; they hold onto the object and won't let go even to his death. If we look at all these words in a spiritual sense you can see how they all intertwined together for the betterment of a spiritual person.
Actually that one word, just ONE, can change a person's life/self-image. That is powerful.
