两个“，”中间的giving~~~~~opinions 是用来修饰“wtite letter”这件事情的也就是说他写信给 favorites 是为了给他们提出建议advice和个人意见own opinoins 。你说的“and sometimes copying them.”这里的copy一词时态和用法和前面的giving，offering不一样， copy应该和主要动词 write 一样的用法
这样的话giving them advice和 offering their own opinions这两个地方是并列修饰主句的所以用and而不是“，”隔开！
