Our decision on your application
We are pleased to inform you that your application for a student visa has been approved in principle.If you have not already done so,please arrange to forward the following original documents to this office no later than 3 September 2008;
An updated offer of place from your New Zealand institution with NZQA approved course,advising when the course you have paid for will begin and when will finish(Note:this should be faxed or emailed directly to INZ Hong Kong by the institution);and
School receipt of the course fee(Note:this should be faxed or emailed directly to INZ Hong Kong by the institution.Receipt of remittance issued by bank is NOT acceptable);and
Evidence of funds for maintenance while in New Zealand which can be either:
i.A letter or certificate from a bank in New Zealand confirming that funds of NZ$10,000 per month of your intended study or NZ$400 per month if accommodation is prepaid;or
ii.Travellers' cheques or bank documents in the student's name showing funds of NZ$1000 per month of your intended study or NZ$400 per month if accommodation is prepaid;or
iii.The form Financial Undertaking for a Student completed by a bank in New Zealand;or
iv.A letter from the educatiional institution confirming that accommodation and other living expenses are included as part of a prepaid package;and
Guarantee of Accommodation which can be arranged by the educational institution;and
your medical report which is less than 3 months old at the time of lodgement (using our medical&ches X-ray certificate NZIS 1007 and completed by our panel doctor.
Please submit the above mentioned documentation no later than 3 September 2008 to this office and please ensure that you send us these items all together.This will assist with the visa process.Once the documentation is received,a final decision will be made on your application.
