纯粹个人意见哈,因为之前专门上过关于翻译祝词的课程,所以稍微知道一点,以下各条楼主斟酌采纳吧,呵呵.
首先楼主必须明白这个概念,口语之所以和书面语要分开,因为口语用不着太多的复杂词汇和华丽辞藻,简单易懂才是王道,另外在祝词上一般都会有专业的模版,楼主有空的话可以上网自己搜看看.
另外貌似楼主是直接从中文翻译到英文的,所以很多地方看起来不是很周正,不像是地道的英文.
在百忙之中抽空最好用spare time from your busy schedule,不要用waste,参加你的答谢宴是占用他们的时间,不是浪费他们的时间啊.第一句只要First of all, I want to thank you all for sparing time from your busy schedule to attain my feast of gratitude就好了.
Today, I stand here with glory,because of your support..很别扭,改成Without your support,it is impossible for me to stand at here in this glorious moment.
第二段第一句,I must thank two people.你提到本身就是为了感谢,直接说感谢就好了.
在万千学子背后翻译成英语的话是要讲他们在背后干嘛,不是纯粹的behind躲在你后面,而是在背后支持你,抚养你长大,建议楼主用上support,然后再把原句改下.
默默是without a word of complain,quietly这个词会让人想到安静地工作,而默默包含着“毫无怨言”这一层意思,所以还是直接翻译成毫无怨言吧.
最后一句不是make the effort to,是make efforts to do sth,或者楼主可以用take pains to do.另外make efforts to 和better results中间少了个动词,加个achieve吧
to you,to my teachers,to society, and my dear father and mother大囧,中国人很喜欢列举,外国人很喜欢省略,建议楼主直接写成to the whole society, especially to my parents. 因为whole society就已经包含了所有人了,再把父母单独举出来说下就好了.
中文的祝词与英文的祝词在内容上大概一致就行了,由于两个国家的文化差别很大,中国人喜欢的外国人不一定喜欢,中国崇尚辞藻华丽隆重,外国青睐行文简约有重点.说通俗一点的话就是要：见人说人话,见鬼说鬼话.
